FIND YOUR ELEMENT

Every child learns differently, and every family needs something different. Whether you are looking for a regular weekly community, a memorable holiday adventure, a one-off celebration in the wild, or a schools programme that brings the curriculum to life, there is an Elements experience built for you.

ELEMENTS EARTH

Weekly Home Ed Sessions | Ages 6-12

Our original and most popular offering. Every Wednesday and Thursday during term time, children spend a full day immersed in bushcraft, nature exploration, science experiments, storytelling and free play. Earth is a mixed-age community where children return week after week, building genuine wilderness skills, lasting friendships, and confidence through the seasons.

ELEMENTS FIRE

Teen Skills Sessions | Ages 11-16

For older home-educated teens ready for more independence, Fire offers advanced bushcraft, tool work, fire management, and collaborative projects. These sessions challenge young people to step up as leaders, solve real problems, and develop practical skills that build self-reliance and resilience.

Holiday Club Days

When the usual routine is on pause, Drift keeps children connected to nature. Our holiday club days run throughout the school breaks, offering a full day of adventure, creativity, and outdoor play for ages 6-14. Each holiday brings a fresh theme, from wild survival challenges to seasonal crafts, giving children a memorable break and parents a day of peace.

One-Off Experiences & Parties

Not every family needs a weekly commitment. Adventures is our collection of one-off experiences designed for birthdays, school groups, family celebrations, or simply a day out with a difference. Build a den, light a fire, cook outdoors, and make memories that do not involve a soft-play centre. Tell us what you are celebrating, and we will build an experience around it.

WHAT TO EXPECT AT ELEMENTS

Arrival & Welcome (10:00)
Children gather for circle time, a quick catch-up, and a weather check. We set intentions for the day and build group connection. There is no awkward standing around - your child is welcomed into the group straight away.

Morning Activity Block (10:30)
Depending on the week, this could be fire skills and campfire cooking, shelter building, nature art, pond dipping or a science experiment. Every session has a core activity led by Saira or a qualified facilitator.

Lunch & Free Play (12:00)
Children eat packed lunches together and enjoy unstructured play in the woods or open ground. This is where friendships deepen. The social dynamic of a mixed-age group means older children naturally look out for younger ones.

Afternoon Exploration (12:45)
Nature walks, team games, craft projects or a deeper dive into the morning's theme. This block often follows the children's curiosity - if we find an interesting insect, we might stop and observe.

Reflection & Home Time (14:45)
We pack up, share highlights from the day, and send tired, muddy, happy children back to you.

Bring Outdoor Learning to Your School

We know teachers are stretched. Tight budgets, packed timetables, and the pressure to show curriculum impact mean that brilliant ideas like outdoor learning often stay on the wish list.

Elements In-School exists to change that. We deliver curriculum-mapped days, Year 6 leavers experiences, transition support, team building, and alternative provision - all led by a qualified teacher who understands both the classroom and the woodland.

We can run sessions at Hengistbury Head or bring the experience directly to your school grounds, with full risk assessments, insurance, and planning support included. Whether you need a single enrichment day or a regular alternative provision programme, we make it straightforward, safe, and genuinely impactful for your students.

What Parents Say

"Elements has been such an important part of Harbour’s journey this year. After becoming overwhelmed in school, finding a place where she felt safe, accepted and free to be herself has meant so much to our family. The nurturing, low-pressure environment has helped her rebuild her confidence, develop friendships and reconnect with learning through curiosity, creativity and outdoor adventure. "

- Parent, Bournemouth

"As a home-educating parent, I was looking for something that gave my son social time without sacrificing the quality of learning. Elements is exactly that. He comes home muddy, exhausted and full of stories about what he built or discovered."

- Parent, Christchurch

"We tried a few outdoor activity groups before finding Elements. The difference is the teaching. Saira does not just supervise - she plans, she questions, she extends their thinking. My children are actually learning, not just playing outside."

- Parent, Southbourne

"The mixed-age group works brilliantly. My 7-year-old learns from watching the older children, and my 12-year-old has developed real patience and leadership. I did not expect that outcome."

- Parent, Poole
