When the usual routine pauses, children do not need to pause too. Elements Drift is our holiday club programme for school-aged children aged 6-14, running throughout the school breaks at Hengistbury Head Nature Reserve.

Every Drift day is a full day of outdoor adventure, designed and led by the same qualified team behind our weekly home-education sessions. Children spend their time building dens, lighting fires, exploring the salt marsh and woodland, inventing woodland games, and making things with their hands. There are no screens, no plastic equipment, and no rigid schedules. Just a group of children, a stretch of wild coast, and a team of adults who know how to turn a rainy Tuesday into a story they will tell for years.

Drift is for children who are in school, home-educated, or visiting the area during the holidays. It is for children who are already wild, and for children who have not yet realised they are.
